Top 5 Cryptocurrency Apps Performance in Peru - Q2 2023

During the second quarter of 2023, the top 5 cryptocurrency apps in Peru showed varied performance trends in terms of weekly downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto saw a consistent increase in weekly downloads, starting from 3.9K at the end of March and peaking at around 5.3K in early June. The app's weekly active users, however, experienced a decline from approximately 30K at the end of March to around 25K by the end of June.

Cryptomania —Trading Simulator witnessed a significant surge in weekly downloads, especially notable from late May, climbing from 941 to a peak of 4.7K by the end of June. The app's weekly active users also followed a similar upward trajectory, increasing from 1.4K at the end of March to about 6.4K by the end of June.

Sweat Wallet had a relatively stable performance in terms of weekly active users, maintaining around 15K throughout the quarter. However, the app's weekly downloads showed a slight decline, starting from 1.3K at the end of March and dropping to 545 by the end of June.

Trust: Crypto & Bitcoin Wallet experienced a modest increase in weekly downloads, rising from 646 at the end of March to 878 by the end of June. The app's weekly active users showed a steady performance, fluctuating around the 18K mark but peaking at approximately 19.7K in mid-June.

MetaMask - Blockchain Wallet had a stable trend in weekly active users, maintaining around 16K throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads saw a slight increase, starting from 613 at the end of March and stabilizing around 395 by the end of June.
